I'll find out how I feel about it

the Stories

after i've written it

Each year, 175,000 children around the world are diagnosed with cancer.  With that staggering number, it is incomprehensible that childhood cancers receive less than 4% of federal funding for cancer research.  We know this is not enough.  The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is an amazing organization that is working to fund research to find a cure.  By “Braving the Shave,” kids and grown-ups alike are shaving their heads to raise the much needed money to help fund research to discover new treatments for children battling these devastating diseases.  The St. Baldrick’s events are full of joy, love, and laughter.  As Eric Haddad, father of Honored Kid, Shane, said – St. Baldrick’s events are about kids standing up for other kids.

These kids are showing other kids who fighting cancer that hair isn’t what matters.  What matters is what’s in your soul.  What matters is how tough you are and how brave you are.  What matters is that you are not alone.

You can help these families in the fight to end childhood cancers.  You don’t have to shave to get involved.  You can give your time, your talent, or your generous donations by visiting stbaldricks.org today.

Join the fight.

4% is not enough.
