When Lauren told me that they wanted to have their session somewhere in an urban setting with the Cleveland skyline, I was so excited to find them an awesome location. Heritage Park down in the Flats offers some of the best views of the city, so it was perfect for our morning session. We actually had this session on a pretty warm day way back in November, so the kids were loving that they didn’t have to wear coats and got to run around freely. Lauren and Dan were so incredibly laid back during our session and we got to capture how much fun this adorable family has together. There were very few serious moments as gorgeous little Claire ran around chasing her super-energetic brother, Patrick, as he did some of his best Spidey impressions. I loved that Lauren and Dan just went with the flow and encouraged their silliness and spontaneity. They absolutely wanted to capture who the kids are right at this particular moment in their lives without interfering with their excitement and adventurous spirit. I think that the kids are very lucky to have parents who know when its time for a little goofiness. Thank you guys for inviting me to capture so much love and joy that your family has together! I had such a wonderful time!
