Ashley + Jeremy | Medina Engagement Photographer

November 14, 2014

When you’ve been together for a really, really long time, you know a thing or two about each other.  And these guys have been together for ten years, so it was really wonderful to see how these two operate with each other.  Jeremy knows just when to help fix a necklace or brush some hair out of Ashley’s face just was well as Ashley knows that if Jeremy is holding something with the potential to be broken, it will most likely break.  Having been together since high school, they got to watch each other grow up, which is a privilege not every couple gets to experience.  Ashley and Jeremy have been engaged for three(!) years and have finally decided that now is the time to tie the knot.  I couldn’t have been happier to start off their official wedding planning with their engagement photos and couldn’t have asked for a better-looking and agreeable couple.  As we looked for some remaining fall leaves near the lake, we were greeted with mostly bare trees, frigid temperatures, and eventually some rain, but that didn’t deter these two.  We came armed with blankets so I snapped away as they cuddled up together making each other laugh and smile without any help from me.  I also got to meet their adorable pooches, who were a bit less agreeable than their people, but we had a great time getting them in the photos, too!  The best part about this session was watching these two look at each other and know everything there was to know without speaking.  They tease each other, make each other laugh, and hold onto each other tight.  And after all this time, you can tell that Jeremy thinks that Ashley is the most beautiful girl in the world (and who can blame him!) and that Ashley just simply adores Jeremy.  Thank you for including me as you start this wonderful part of your lives, you two.  I loved meeting you and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you.  Congratulations!  xo
