The St. Baldrick’s Foundation “Brave the Shave” event at St. Mark Catholic School was incredible. The outpouring of love, strength, selflessness, and bravery of these 124 kids and parents was overwhelming. We applauded the doctors working tirelessly to find a cure, cheered for the survivors of pediatric cancer who told us their stories, hugged those who are still fighting, and cried with those who have lost their children far too early. Childhood cancers only receive 4% of federal funding for cancer research. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is an amazing organization that is working to fund research to find a cure. Share these families’ stories with your friends, volunteer at an event, show these families that you believe 4% is not enough. Join the fight. Visit stbaldricks.org to donate.
There are 854 photos in the final galleries for the St. Baldrick’s event. You are welcome and encouraged to share your photos in the galleries on social media to spread the word about this incredible cause and your amazing children and families. If you wish to purchase a print of any of your photos, all net proceeds will be donated to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. If you have any questions, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of this. I am in awe of you all.
